With utter sadness and disbelief, we announce that Michael Glawogger passed away tonight in Monrovia during the shooting of our co-production “Untitled”. We are shocked, and our hearts go to his wife, our friends at Lotus Film, and Manu and Attila who spent the past 5 months with him on the road from Austria to Liberia. The plan had been to make a documentary about the state the world is in – without any thematic preconception. It happened until it stopped now in Liberia. One of the most intelligent filmmakers we have met, and funny, charming, and humble, has left.
