Gods Are Us

SYNOPSIS

Each episode of this six-part ZDF comedy series Gods Are Us  explores one of the most significant chapters in human history, from Adam and Eve to Moses to the birth of Christ in its own comic style.

DIRECTOR

Carsten Strauch was born in 1971 in Offenbach. He studied at the Offenbach University of Art and Design and graduated 2001 with a degree in “Visual Communications”. During his studies he worked for the broadcasting service Hessischer Rundfunk in Frankfurt and U5 FilmProduction, where he had his first stint as an assitant director. He has also produced and directed several short films and received many awards at national and international film festivals, including the German- and the Hessian Film Award. Strauch now works as an actor, writer and director. His first feature film Cutting Edge (starring him and Rainer Ewerrien) was released in 2007.
