SYNOPSIS
Eva has no choice left anymore: she has to work as a milker on the Alps for three months. She sets out to help Daniel take care of his 40 dairy cows. The gruff cheese maker is very skeptical of the German helper. Eventually Eva and Daniel become a well-rehearsed team that gets closer and closer on a human level, until one day Marco, Eva’s boyfriend, unexpectedly stands in front of the alpine hut…
DIRECTOR
Tamara Staudt apprenticed as a carpenter in Tuebingen and spent her journeyman years in Zurich and at the Landestheater in Tuebingen. She completed her master craftsman exam in Stuttgart. In 1988, she was accepted at the DFFB film school in Berlin where she studied directing. During her studies she worked as a camera assistant for the ZDF and took screenwriting seminars with Wim Wenders, Mark Imhoof and Syd Field.
